It all started so well for Jan Kirchhhoff at Sunderland (well aside from an awful debut), and he may well have been enough to save the club from relegation if injuries hadn't limited him to only 7 appearances (he was the season before, after all).
His Natural Fitness stat in the game is inevitable low (at just 8), but keep him fit and you've got a strong midfield option, particularly as back-up. He has strong stats for all defensive attributes, good ones for other Passing and Pace (14 for both) and he's well worth a punt.
