GRAND THEFT AUTO 5 Is Set In Los Santos

The major reveal is that Grand Theft Auto 5 is taking place in Los Santos, Rockstar's own version of Los Angeles.

The Grand Theft Auto 5 trailer is finally here and it gives away far more details than I had expected it too! The major reveal is that Grand Theft Auto 5 is taking place in Los Santos, Rockstar's own version of Los Angeles. You can see the confirmation of this right at the end of the trailer with the Vinewood sign replacing the famous Hollywood sign. Los Santos has of course been used before in GTA lore in San Andreas and is the biggest city in that state. The word 'Los Santos' actually translates as 'The Saints' and is a play on words with Los Angeles, which means 'The Angels'. So Grand Theft Auto fans, are you happy or disappointed by the reveal? Were you holding out for another location to be used? What clues are in the trailer? Here's dozens of images I've screen grabbed from the trailer. Have a peak... Obviously there's the fighter jet, golf course (which would make an awesome mini game in of itself), the countryside is hinted at, a sweater right out of Carlton's wardrobe from The Fresh Prince of Bell Air and lots, lots more. I'm going to watch the trailer again and again but would love to hear your thoughts in the mean time.
