GTA 5 Gets October 2012 Release After Bioshock Infinite Delay?

Could GTA V be coming this October?

With the disappointment sinking in that we will not be able to play BioShock Infinite this year, there might now be some hope that we could now see Grand Theft Auto V released in 2012, according to Michael Pachter of Webush Securities. Since the announcement that BioShock Infinite was not being released this year, Take-Two stocks have dropped five percent because of the now seemingly week Take-Two holiday lineup. Pachter is now speculating that BioShock was not only moved to give the developer more time to polish the game but to give a window where Rockstar Games can now deliver GTA 5:
"In our view, the delay opens the window for Grand Theft Auto V to be released in October 2012,
Pachter reasoning for this is he believes Rockstar Games "notified Take-Two that GTA V would be ready for October." In addition, he believes past iterations of the game being released in October is also significant:
"The studio has scheduled every prior GTA release during that month (with GTA IV delayed to April 2008, due to bugs in the PS3 version)."
There is some truth to what Pachter is saying but the guys over at Rockstar are not prone to being on a set deadline, they take the approach the game is done when we say it is. There could be an announcement "as early as May 22" according to Pachter because Take-Two has a "scheduled quarterly investor call" or E3 (probably not because Rockstar does not show up very often if at all to most E3's). October is already pretty full with Assassin's Creed III, Resident Evil 6, and Medal of Honor: Warfighter scheduled to be released that month. In all honesty Pachter is just guessing like the rest of us, he could be right be but until it comes out of Rockstar or Take-Two's mouth it is all just speculation.
