1. You Can Become An Entrepeneur
GTA Online's unveiling last week made it clear that, in an attempt to deepen the multiplayer, players can now purchase their own property, their own garage, and even their own freaking fighter jet! More to the point, Rockstar is offering enterprising players the chance to become virtual entrepreneurs, and not just by investing on the stock market, but by buying a business and milking it for all it's worth. The achievement entitled "All's Fare in Love and War" encourages players to "purchase Downtown Cab Co. and complete a private fare", while "TP Industires Arms Race" refers to " McKenzie Field Hangar and the arms race", and finally, "Waste Management" rewards players who "purchase the old dock and collect all nuclear waste". Though we don't yet know how involved this aspect of the game will be, the idea of buying a company and then having to micro-manage it to keep your profits steady seems pretty awesome, all the more so if there is a risk/reward system and a punishment for failing to live up to your duties. Say, if you forget or refuse to keep your nuclear waste facility clean, perhaps there is a leak or meltdown, which can kill any nearby players and result in an angry mob coming for your head?
