GTA V: 5 Things We Learned From The New Trailer

3. It's Funny As Hell

GTA V It shouldn't really come as a surprise, but it seems clear that this is going to be another uproariously funny deconstruction of American culture, placed within a sandbox environment. The trailer includes some great zingers like Michael's therapist hearing about his recent experiences and declaring, "I think you need a new therapist." Then there's Franklin, whose entire trailer is a collection of hilarious and embarrassingly funny skits, ending with him threatening, "Do you want me to get my d*** out again?" (we really don't). Michael's story, meanwhile, seems to be an amusing satire of contemporary suburban life, what with him finding a man in his daughter's bedroom, and chasing him right out the window in his pants. What this trailer cements is that the writing seems to be as on the money as anything the series has ever produced.
