Analyst Predicting March 2013 Release

One so called expert analyst has predicted that GTA V will be released in March 2013. Famed games industry analyst Michael Pachter reckons GTA V will hit shop shelves early next year, outlining a number of reasons below:
"Their fiscal year ends 31 March, so they pretty much have to bring the game out by 31 March. With GTA, I honestly think the Rockstar guys could bring it out before Christmas if they wanted to and they could announce next week that it's coming out December 9, and then the Game Informer cover would get a lot of publicity, but my guess is that it's coming out March. That's probably an accurate release date and that gives them four full months to promote it."
We also reported that retailer GameStop had posted a March 2013 release date for the title.

Alternatively, Could GTA V Miss March '13 Release Date?

Another analyst, Colin Sebastian, has voiced his concerns that fans may have to wait longer than March 2013 before they can get their hands on a copy of GTA V. Colin Sebastian is Baird€™s senior equity research analyst covering Internet and Interactive Entertainment and said of GTA V:
€œBy no means am I convinced that it will miss March, but there are a couple of factors to consider. One, we haven€™t heard anything definitive from the company on release timing. Second, retailers typically would want 4-6 months lead time to prepare for a launch as large as GTA, and from what I understand they haven€™t heard anything. Third, Rockstar rightly prioritizes game quality over release date, and this dynamic could shift timing.€
The last game in the series, GTA IV, was released in April, so if past release dates are anything to go by, we may have to wait slightly longer than March. GTA V On Facebook? Click Next To Read More.
