Rockstar Games release 5 new screenshots for GTA V showcasing land and underwater vehicles.

gtascreen1 Rockstar Games, publishers of the hotly anticipated Grand Theft Auto V, have just this afternoon released 5 new screenshots for the upcoming crime title. The new images showcase a few of the game's wide array of vehicles both on the road and under the sea, from cars and dirt bikes to submarines. gtascreen2 Weeks after releasing three one-minute long character trailers for the bestselling sandbox game, Rockstar have once more treated us to new screengrabs featuring Franklin burning some rubber to evade the police (above) as well as Trevor leading the authorities on a merry dance through the scenic mountainsides of Los Santos, (below). gtascreen3 GTA V will feature more vehicles than in any GTA to date, including a huge variety of cars, trucks, bikes, helicopters, planes, ATVs and jet skis. There will also be a fully immersible underwater environment to explore in submarines and scuba diving apparel, featuring a realistic ecosystem of sea creatures, such as sharks. gtascreen4 The screenshots also depict many surrounding locales in Los Santos, from mountainous, countryside roads to dingy, crime-riddled inner-city streetscapes. There's also an image showing Trevor clad in a crash helmet as he rides a motorbike along a beachfront in scenes which look reminiscent of GTA Vice City. gtascreen5 Grand Theft Auto V is slated for a release on Sept. 17, 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
