Did John Cena Just Spoil WWE 2K15 Playable Mode Surprise?

New video hints at Cena as 2K15's big feature.

2K Games2K GamesA new video from WWE 2K15 has implied that this year's theme mode could be built around John Cena. We already know that the 15 time WWE Champion will be the 2K15 cover image, it now appears the reason for that could be down to the in-game content. Cena himself stars in this new 2K video, referencing that he will be involved in a deeper role, which will be some sort of a surprise. He might have let on more than he intended, declaring the following - "I'm working really close with 2k sports this year to kind of put my own little touches on the game... I can't give away what I'm going to do because that's kind of the surprise" Analysing that comment, you'd have to think that the 'surprise' could only really be some sort of Cena game mode. What else could he really be working so closely with 2K for? The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has stated that Cena being the cover star of 2K15 isn't a coincidence, it was done with his 15th title win in mind, so perhaps this year's game mode is in fact a John Cena '15 Titles In WWE' story. The problem with that idea is 2K15 don't have all of Cena's title opponents under contract, so perhaps it will be more of a general Cena career mode in which the player battles all his most famous matches. This would be similar to 2K14's '30 Years Of WrestleMania' mode in which you progressed through famous WrestleMania matches. You'd imagine a 2K15 Cena mode would feature all of the star's finest matches such as his win over Edge at Unforgiven 2006 and the battles with The Rock at recent WrestleMania events.
