I have only been writing for this website for about four months and yet this is about the fourth or fifth story I have had to do on a video game being leaked. However, this has the potential to be one of the worst leaks in video game history as the story and ending to Mass Effect 3 have been leaked and according to Bioware, they are official. The reason I say this could be one of the worst leaks in video gaming history is because most people only play Mass Effect games for the story, so if the story is spoiled some people may feel it defeats the purpose of playing the game altogether. Bioware though has stated that these leaks are out of date.

Here is what Bioware had to say about the leak:

“We are still investigating, but it appears that some internal story files have been leaked, Even though the information in those files is out of date and does not reflect the final story experience, we urge fans not to read them if they want to experience the purest form of the story in Mass Effect 3.”

There are a lot of people anticipating the story for Mass Effect 3 and how it will play out with their favorite characters, so I would advise anyone who loves Mass Effect to try and avoid these spoilers. I have had to state this before but be careful where you get you information on the game from now on because forums and message boards are ripe with people who would love nothing more than to spoil the game for you.
