Metal Gear Solid V: 8 (Some Are Worrying) Things We Learned From Gameplay Demonstration

Metal Gear Solid V We still haven€™t the slightest idea what Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes actually is besides a prologue of sorts to the core game, The Phantom Pain, but that isn€™t stopping acclaimed and unorthodox director Hideo Kojima from showing the game off. A 24 minute (Get it? 24, Kiefer Sutherland, 24 minutes) exclusive sneak peak gameplay demo has been presented to the gaming press in Los Angeles and along with that came their initial breakdown of the footage. From everything I have read perusing the internet, one thing is abundantly clear; this isn€™t your standard MGS game and has gone through drastic changes. Some admittedly seem for the worse and another shameless grab at a more casual audience, but I won€™t openly criticize yet. Hideo Kojima is arguably the greatest video game auteur working today and the industries€™ closest persona to a worldwide recognized figurehead, and with that comes some leisurely benefit of the doubt. Nevertheless, here are 8 things we learned from the latest demonstration in the franchise that sparked a growth and revolution into video game storytelling.
