April 23, 2019. The day that PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch get a heaping helping of blood, guts, and every bodily fluid in between. That's the launch date for Mortal Kombat 11, and we couldn't be more excited to bash skulls and stomp groins in higher definition than ever before.

We know around half of the roster so far, and it's a nice array of classic characters and newer ones. However we don't know any of the DLC characters just yet, which means the guest star roster is wide open. Officially, MK 11's character sheet is set to be 32 fighters strong, 19 of which are confirmed, and 6 of which will come as DLC.

We should be finding out about the first DLC pack in the coming weeks, prior to launch, and I have a fair few ideas/dreams as to show should appear. Don't be expecting a certain mystery-solving stoner teen to appear though, because we all know that ain't happening.

Let me know down in the comments who you want to see.

10. Michael Myers

As you'll notice, we're starting off with the most obvious ones. And Michael Myers is certainly the single most requested guest star for Mortal Kombat 11.

The Halloween slasher has long been rumoured to join the Mortal Kombat ranks, especially since the series has previously featured Jason Vorhees, Leatherface, and Freddy Kreuger.

Developer NetherRealm has previously stated that they considered Myers in the past, but the crossover just never came to fruition. Well, given the renewed popularity for Myers following last years excellent Halloween, the timing couldn't be better.

Myers is a force of nature; a psychopath with an inhuman ability to take punishment, and strength that defies all logic. Some of his best kills have seen him pierce a man with a shotgun, crush a skull with his bare hands, and, most famously, pin a guy to a wall with a butcher knife.

It's not hard to envision how Michael Myers would fit into Mortal Kombat, with his immense strength and knife skills more than making up for his lack of speed. And he has more than a few different looks that could act as his various skins, too.

If NetherRealm ever wanted to make this dream come true, do it now.
