Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Special Edition Announced

Europe and Australia getting a Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch special edition.

I would have to say Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is one of my most anticipated games of next year. The game was scheduled to come out earlier this year but kept getting pushed back and is now scheduled for a early 2013 release date. Well today Namco Bandai made the wait a little harder with the announcement of Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Wizard's Edition. The newly announced special edition (seen above) includes 300+ page hardback spellbook that the protagonist Oliver uses, plush doll of Drippy your in game companion, and some DLC exclusive characters Goldenmite and Golden Drongo. In addition, if you pre-order from specific retail outlets you will also get two other "familiars" Flutterby and Griffy. At this time there is no official price for the special edition, but I don't expect it to come cheap. Also as of right now Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Wizard's Edition will only be available in Europe and Australia. There is no word on whether the special edition will be released in North America. For those who don't know Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch which has already been released in Japan is one of the most anticipated games because it is a collaboration between Level-5 and Studio Ghibli. Yes, that Studio Ghibli, the one that has produced some of the most memorable movies ever (Castle in the Sky and Spirited Away just to name a couple).
