We spend so much time on these maps, but how many can you really remember?
How many hours did you spend playing Grand Theft Auto V? What about Skyrim? And Breath of the Wild? Likely hundreds of each. After exploring every nook and cranny of a game world, you'd think you'd be able to recognise it in a heartbeat.
However, just like the proverbial goldfish, we tend to forget everything about games as soon as we are set loose in the next giant world. One day you're talking to Marko Dragic and watching his robot come to life in Red Dead Redemption 2, the next you can't even remember where to find him. Of course, if you love a video game enough it's liable to make a lasting impression.
And that's what we want to put to the test today: your memory of video game maps. We're going to show you a picture of a world map, or at least part of one, and give you four possible answers. The list is comprised of some of the biggest video games of all time, and a few more not-so-massive ones, but each with a uniquely identifiable map. So put your thinking cap on and try to match the following maps to their respective games. Just try not to overthink it.
