Ranking 2015’s Summer Video Games From Worst To Best

The race for Game of the Year 2015 will have one hell of a photo finish.

Man, how awesome is 2015 for gaming right now? It's primarily down to 2014 being such a burning car-wreck of a year when it came to delivering on potential or convincing us our newest slabs of hardware were worth their hefty price tags, but from the Afghani deserts of Metal Gear Solid V to the gorgeous green pitches of Rocket League, it's safe to the say the industry is positively brimming with potential once again. The best part is, we're not even close to seeing everything that's been cooking over across the last few years. Before the year's out there'll be Halo 5: Guardians, Just Cause 3 and the mighty Fallout 4 to contend with, just to name but three, whilst Super Mario Maker and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 prop up the immediate future. With any luck the latter will be spectacular and we can all bask in the glow of nostalgia-made-modern, but until then, I thought it best to have a stab at the best of 2015's summer season, just to get a handle on the best of the best. So, what have you been playing? Do you favour indie releases more than before? What surprised you, disappointed you, perhaps both - or made you want to tell any who'd listen about a particular moment or level? When gaming's firing on all cylinders its the finest medium around, putting you right in the centre of some of the finest entertainment experiences of all time. Let us know in the comments what your frontrunner for Game of the Year 2015 is so far, and how many of the following 10 you've already got your hands on.
