As the whole world is busy frame by frame'ing Red Dead Redemption 2's new trailer for new tidbits of info, the armies of Reddit have dug up something far more enticing: The now-deleted account of one reddeadinsider, who once provided a description for a future Red Dead game which has only now been proved correct.
Besides nailing the protagonist name as Arthur (Morgan) and describing an overall progression that matches the new trailer (I'll get into this later), we have a pretty solid outline of what you'll be getting up to in RDR2, alongside framing the game's ending.
Spoilers will be flagged accordingly, but know that this leak doesn't outline any major deaths - though there are many we can assume.
Just going off Rockstar's official trailer, we can glean that heists and bank robberies will be carrying over from GTA V, and also confirmed is the prequel timeline, being we see a much younger Dutch (who you kill in the first game) get referred to by name.
If it weren't for this new trailer, none of the older speculative info would've even added up, but now that it does, Red Dead Redemption 2 has some mighty fine tricks up its sleeve.
