What a strange rollout Red Dead Redemption 2 has had. One minute it's delayed and repeated leaks point to disgruntled workers struggling to get any version of the game past Rockstar's higher-ups - the next we get another story trailer that does little to showcase anything new.
What gamers really wanted was, well, gameplay, and even that has been doled out in a strange manner.
Rather than wait until E3 to do a full showcase of new features, none other than IGN were exclusively allowed to play 45 minutes of the latest build - without showing any of it. You can find the video over here, but clearly Rockstar are still being cagey when it comes to actually showing the public what RDR2 looks like in motion.
Thankfully, combing the video and picking up on a few things from a fan's perspective yields some very tasty gameplay details. We know Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel, focusing on new character Arthur Morgan and his role in Dutch Van der Linde's gang, plus we'll be seeing a younger John and Abigail Marston get to know each other across the course of the story, but what of how it'll play?
Well, there's a lot to pick apart.
