Sega Delays Anarchy Reigns

Anarchy Reigns delayed for the second time.

Anarchy Reigns for those of you who don't know is generally described as an online beat 'em up game and it is being developed by Platinum Games. Now there have been a lot of delayed games this year, but this one takes the cake; the game is essentially done. The developers of the game even say the game and localization is done, but Sega has decided to push the game back anyway:
"Finally, we break the bad news about Anarchy Reigns US/EU release date €“ Sega has decided to change the date to TBC. While our work on the game is finished, localized, and ready to go, as publisher, Sega gets to make the final decision as to when it is released. The Japanese release date, however, remains unchanged for July 5, 2012."
A new release date for US and Europe has not been given at this time, only that it is to be confirmed or determined. The game had already been delayed from what was scheduled to be a January 2012 release to July 3rd. It is hard to see why Sega would delay the game again, unless they are afraid to release a game during the summer. Many publishers are afraid to release games during summer because they feel the sales won't be there during summer months as opposed to the fall. I wouldn't think that the game will be delayed more than a month or so considering it is done, but July 3rd was not a crowded area to release a game. The more they push it back, the more crowded it gets; there is no way they show release this game any later than August.
