Shenmue III Guide: Where To Find Every Chobu Chan In Niaowu (With Pictures)
Senary Road
Senary Road is the last part of Niaowu's shopping district which opens to Ryo, and there's not much in the way of action besides two high end restaurants.
Angler Extraordinaire
In a wading boot to the left of the door. You'll have to (sigh), angle yourself just right to register this one.
Good River Fish
Chilling in the ice box directly opposite the cash register.
Heaven's Fist
In a crate with a mace under the stairwell. This is the last Shop Card in the Niaowu Kung Fu Set.
The Peking Duck House
Up the stairs and on the second table to your right, on a plate of... we want to say eggs?
Kowloon Dim Sum
On the left barrier rope pole, next to the capsule machines. Did you know the music here is from Shenmue II's Wise Men's Qr.?
Liu Jiao Shrine
Good luck nabbing this one; we didn't, but for a handy tip from a reader and avid Shenmue fan (thanks, Laura!). After the shrine is ransacked, you can find a scrap of paper containing a cipher that ought to bring back memories of Bailu: it's a set instructions for rotating the Buddha prayer-wheel-thingy in the other pavillion.
The correct order is: clockwise, anti-clockwise x2, clockwise x2, anti-clockwise. One satisfying click later, and this most horrid of Shop Cards is all yours.
Liu Jiao Shrine (Bonus!)
Not an actual Shop Card, but a Chobu can be found amongst the votive slips in Liu Jiao Shrine. You'll get an item for it. Yay!
