Skyrim: Top 10 Artifacts and Where To Find Them

SPOILERS! We list the best Daedric artifacts in Skyrim, and guide you to their whereabouts

WARNING: Pretty major spoilers below. You have been warned. Now that The Elder Scrolls latest addition has been released for a good while, and everyone who wants to play it probably has to some degree, it's time to look back at the best elements of the game and offer a cheeky guide to finding the best goodies. If you've put the hours in, you've probably already come into contact with some or most of the following list, but that doesn't mean you have to agree with our choices of the best artifacts, so let us know your own. For anyone who hasn't logged the hours, and wants a quick and easy way to boosting abilities and collecting an enviable inventory, read on, and get your questing hat on. Naturally, there are some spoilers below, so you have been doubly-warned.

1. The Masque of Clavicus Vile

What it does: Comes with the following enchantments: Prices improved 20% Speech increase by 10 points Magicka regenerates 5% faster Where to find it: Falkreath How to get it: Outside Falkreath you'll find a talking dog named Barbas, who wants to be reunited with his master Clavicus Vile. Agree to help him, and you will eventually (he's not exactly fast) come to a cave full of vampires, which you will clear together, before finally talking to Clavicus. He expresses his disappointed Barbas, and charges you with returning his Rueful Axe to him from a mage in another dungeon, which you should definitely agree to do. With almost biblical tragedy, when you return the axe, Clavicus will demand you kill his disappointing dog Barbas with it. If you agree, you get to keep the axe, though not as an artifact, but if you say no you'll be rewarded with Clavicus' mask.
