So are you one of the unlucky few that have not yet gotten their hands on the God of War franchise? You also have not gotten the chance to throw lightning around New Orleans in Infamous 2? Well here is some good news for you then. Sony has some collections coming out that will let you play all their games.

Yes, all of them.

These collections are called…. “PlayStation Collections” (Original, I know) and they will be starting at $30. These basically act as “the franchise to this point” game summaries to get people caught up with the lore of a particular franchise.

The best deal (by far) is the God of War collection, which has all three of the main games (God of War I, II, III), the two PSP games (God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War: Ghost of Sparta), all the “Exclusive Bonus Content” and re-mastered graphics. You also get a free month of PlayStation Plus to help sweeten the deal.

The inFamous collection includes the first two games and the Festival of Blood DLC, with extra missions and bonus costumes and weapon designs. It’s not as much of a value as the GoW collection, but you’ll save $25 compared to downloading all this stuff separately. Presumably Sony is greasing the wheels for upcoming sequels: God of War: Ascension is on the way in March and it’s not exactly a secret that Sony wants another inFamous game.

Both will be coming August 28th, along with the already announced Ratchet and Clank collection.
