South Park: The Fractured But Whole - 10 Most Notable Character Omissions

South Park: The Stick Of Truth was an unexpected hit back in 2014. Written by series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, it perfectly captured the tone and style of the show and transplanted into in a well-crafted pastiche of the RPG genre, enabling players to fully explore South Park and take part in a ridiculous storyline that incorporated likes of anal-probing aliens, a Nazi zombie version of the long-departed Chef and 8-bit Canadians.

Almost every character of note appeared in some form, whilst there were references to past episodes at almost every turn.

Fast forward three years and South Park: The Fractured But Whole has delivered much of the same, expanding the eponymous town and switching the focus of its satire to the superhero genre that currently dominates the movie landscape.

As with its predecessor, there are references to all twenty seasons of the series galore and even the most obscure individuals from the show's lore show up for cameos, ranging from the Raisins girls to the murderous Woodland Critters.

There are a handful of notable absentees, however, whose presence might've enhanced the game from a storyline or comedic perspective even further. Be aware that spoilers do follow.

Timmy Burch and Jimmy Valmer have long been positive representations of the disabled, indifferently included in the schemes of the main characters.

Both feature prominently in the Fractured But Whole, with Jimmy taking on the role of the Flash-esque Fastpass and Timmy leading the Freedom Pals as Doctor Timothy, a Professor X copycat. Only the former is playable, though the latter's character sheet can be collected and the fact that the first of the game's upcoming DLCs is geared around him may mean that he'll be added to the roster sooner rather than later.

In episodes centered around the pair, they are occasionally antagonised by the sociopathic Nathan and his lackey Mimsy, who is frequently abused both physically and verbally and ignored when he actually comes up with a sensible plan. In each appearance, they seek to sabotage Jimmy and/or Timmy in any way possible for no apparent reason. Ultimately they always fail miserably (and on a dark note, Nathan usually ends up getting raped).

Their absence from the game is notable particularly due to the inclusion of Classi, who was introduced to the show as Nathan's girlfriend/prostitute. Pitting the player against the duo would've made for an interesting boss fight given the contrast between Nathan's intelligence and Mimsy's physicality, and also would've given Timmy and Jimmy a centric quest similar to the ones that Craig/Tweak, Wendy, Butters and Clyde each receive.
