The ongoing twenty first season of South Park has reverted to the series' ways of old and featured a standalone plot in each episode, forsaking the season-long narratives that were present in the previous two. Some things have been carried through, however, such as Cartman's relationship with Heidi Turner, a longtime background classmate of the show's main characters that rose to prominence in season twenty.

This relationship originated due to the pair's exclusion from social media (Heidi's by choice, Cartman's by force) and was played quite seriously at first. It has since descended into farce as Heidi has drifted back into the background once more, with Cartman inconvenienced by her inopportune appearances and poor timekeeping.

Given that the game ostensibly takes place between season twenty and the ongoing season twenty one, it is inexplicable that Heidi isn't referenced in any shape or form, not even appearing as one of the 130 possible Coonstagram followers. Having her randomly appear to interrupt Cartman's plotting (similar to how Kyle Schwartz occasionally pops up in random battles) would've generated some laughs, particularly if she showed up during the period where his hand is masquerading as Mitch Conner.

The other boys could've even attempted to utilise her as a weapon to stop him, forcing him to break character by exploiting the fact that he is desperate to keep hold of her despite his insistences to the contrary.
