Spider-Man PS4: 10 Villains We Want To See

Although there isn't a great deal of information available about the PlayStation-exclusive Spider-Man from Insomniac, fans haven't stopped speculating on what they can't wait to see. Leaks suggested players will be seeing a more experienced Peter Parker take on New York - a far cry from the slightly more formative years we'll be getting in Spider-Man: Homecoming. For this reason, it can be assumed that many of his rogues gallery won't be making an appearance, as they'll have already been dealt with in the past.

Such an opportunity means Insomniac get to choose each villain carefully, in regards to how they can compete with an experienced and powered-up superhero. Past games in the Spider-Man franchise - and the movies too - have made the mistake of selecting too many antagonists, all the while not developing them enough to provide any worthwhile characterisation or memorability.

Finally, with this more 'separated' take on the Web-Head and more development time to deliver, Spidey's next instalment on PS4 could change all that. The ten villains shown here all genuinely deserve to be included in any future game featuring Spider-Man, either for their relation to the character or their potential as boss fights.
