This Spidey suit was introduced when the web-slinger gained the Enigma Force (or uni-power as it's sometimes known) of Captain Universe, transforming him into the cosmic wall-crawler you can see above.

Pete temporarily took on the mantle during a few stories, first gaining the power in order to defeat some very powerful foes, but on Earth-13 he kept the Force, later using it in an attempt to shield the other Spider-Men of the multiverse from the attack of Solus and his hordes of vampires (which ultimately failed).

But, getting back to the point, this costume is out of this world, in both looks and backstory, making it fit right in alongside the rest of Insomniac's offerings.
