SYNDICATE Reboot On the Way

The long gestating rumors that a Syndicate reboot was in the works have been confirmed today through the news being put up too early at EA's online store Origin! There is information on the game as well as numerous screen shots, however some of the information may not please fans of the series. The original Syndicate was released in 1993 and was a "was an isometric tactical strategy game", however this new reboot will be of course what else but a first person shooter. The game will supposedly be shown for the first time in the Swedish magazine Gamereactor on September 16. Starbreeze Studios the makers of Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and The Darkness are the developers working on the Syndicate remake. I never played the original game but I could see how this remake would piss some fans of the series off. Another reboot of a series that was never a first person shooter, being turned into a first person shooter (XCOM being the other).
