Tekken 7: 10 Major Characters That May Not Be Returning

4. Jinpachi Mishima

Talking of strong links to the Mishima bloodline, we have Jinpachi. Father of Heihachi, Jinny made his first appearance as the final boss of Tekken 5, frustrating players with his impossible to block, high damage moves, and then became a playable character in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online, returning once more for the latest Tekken game, Tekken Tag Tournament 2. So, with Jinpachi already having established himself as a playable character, and with Tekken 7 centring on the Mishima family, you would think that his inclusion would be a given. The issue, however, is that he€™s sort of dead. In canon that is. At the end of Tekken 5 he dissolves into dust after the player defeats him, and although he reappears in Tag 2, that's a non-canon game. The Tekken series is a bit of a crazy one though, so Jinpachi could definitely be written back into existence.
