The Evil Dead's Ash Williams Is Coming To Mortal Kombat 11
Hail to the king, baby.
Following a string of leaks surrounding the DLC characters coming to Mortal Kombat 11 (including the Terminator, who's now apparently contracted to show up in every franchise in existence), it seems as though NetheRealm have finally answered the prayers of fans, and will be adding The Evil Dead's Ash Williams into the fighting game.
The leak comes by way of an official advertisement for MK11's DLC characters, which has since been deleted but showed up on Google when searching for 'Mortal Kombat' and 'The Terminator'.
The chainsaw-wielding hero has been a sought-after addition to the roster for a while now (and just a sought-after addition to any franchise really, whether it's Alien, Predator, or Friday the 13th), with other horror icons showing up across the past couple of MK games. The cult favourite has a strong following, and his array of abilities, including a sawn-off shotgun and chainsaw arm, should lend itself well to varied - and bloody - fighting styles. Double points if the devs can factor in the Oldsmobile into one of his fatalities.
Considering the leak was for an ad, fans should officially be hearing about the new characters sooner, rather than later.
