There is a certain sense of awe of hearing your favourite actor voice a game character but again, sometimes they are not content enough with this. Here we count down 10 of the best real life figures who have lent both their voice and likeness to the world of video games and for that, we salute them.

10. Danny Trejo - Def Jam Fight for NY

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHhe4BVp7Bo The first Def Jam game gave us a whole roster of real life rap artists such as Ludacris, DMX and Method Man. The game itself was a really clever mix of wrestling and "gangsta" humour. It was the sequel, though, which had the stand-out character of the game - Danny Trejo, who you're bound to recognise from his numerous Hollywood roles in films such as From Dusk 'Til Dawn, Predators and Machete. He fitted into the story by being the gunman and enforcer for Crow, a rival gangland boss trying to encroach on your boss's turf. The player had to defeat him in a brutal "subway match" and after this, he does not appear again, and can be presumed dead because you had the option to throw Trejo in the path of an oncoming subway train, killing him.
