Wii U Released After E3 2012

Nintendo tell us not to expect the Wii U until at least July of 2012.

We have known for a while that the Wii U is launching next year, we just haven't known exactly when. The system was rumored to not be launching before April 2012, but according to Nintendo the Wii U will be returning to E3 2012 where Nintendo plans to show the finished product. In other words, the Wii U will not launch before June of next year, so don't expect the Wii U until at least July of 2012. Here is Nintendo global president Satoru Iwata exact quote:
"We are also planning to launch the Wii U, which is the successor to the Wii, during the next fiscal year. We would like to show the final format of the Wii U at the E3 show next year,"
The big question is will that be too late because most rumors have Microsoft possibly showing off their new console at E3 next year as well. Even more rumors have placed the next generation PlayStation as coming out next year. Whether these rumors are true remains to be seen; but if they are we could be in for the most exciting E3 event in years. Imagine all three major console developers showing off their next generation consoles, it could get pretty intense. Do you see all three console makers showing off their next gen consoles at E3 next year?
