WWE '13: 10 Things THQ Needs To Fix

9. Camera Glitches

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-8ZvhD05Mg With WWE 12 attempting to overhaul the wrestling sim experience, THQ decided to introduce a more realistic dynamic camera system that better reflects the WWE's own presentational style, but they've also left themselves open to some horrid glitches. The problem is that if a sudden movement happens, the camera will erratically jerk away to another shot, which not only fails to reflect the (usually) robust slickness of the WWE's production, but more importantly, disorientates the viewer and makes it confusing as to what is going on. During a crucial or difficult match, this can prove infuriating, and really something that should have been ironed out in the testing stages. While it's easy to admire THQ's innovative new camera system, it needs to be fine-tuned before it is rolled out in future, because it's another small issue that hampers player engagement and enjoyment. If they want to immerse us more in the experience, maybe don't jerk us all over the place.
