THQ have revealed the the full list of playable characters for their forthcoming WWE 13 video game, hitting stores on October 30th.

As you will notice several wrestlers actually appear in both eras but THQ have revealed that the wrestlers will appear in the game as separate characters rather than the same character with different outfits and persona’s. That decision I imagine will prove controversial as there are two additions of the likes of Christian and Mark Henry but no room in the game for Alberto Del Rio, a grappler who as recently as last year twice won the WWE Championship. We have to imagine Del Rio will be included when all is said and done but he’s not included on this list.

Modern Era: John Cena, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Undertaker, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Rey Mysterio, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Jack Swagger, Santino, David Otunga, Kane, Kevin Nash, Christian, Mark Henry, Sin Cara, Epico, Primo, Hunico, Ted DiBiase, Great Khali, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, Justin Gabriel, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Bella Twins, Kharma, Beth Phoenix, Alicia Fox.

Attitude Era: Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero, Edge & Christian, New Age Outlaws, Road Warriors, , X-Pac, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Mankind, Dude Love, Cactus Jack, Trish Stratus, Lita, Big Show, Kane, Davey Boy Smith, Vader, Mark Henry, Ken Shamrock, Godfather and Big Bossman.

THQ also revealed that WWE Hall of Famer Mike Tyson will appear as a celebrity character and this was a deal that has been in the works for months. It appears that it actually goes back to the turn of the year and the deal was struck as part of Tyson’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame 2012.

Interesting superstars of note to be included are Brock Lesnar, who will appear despite being on a limited contract with the company, Kevin Nash (despite him being off television since last year and no longer tied to the company) and The Bella Twins (despite them recently leaving the company).

For the attitude era, Bret Hart is included despite only just being in the WWE at the start of the attitude era in late 1997. New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn & Road Dogg) along with X-Pac will be part of their D-Generation X run and will make their first appearance in a WWE video game for years, as will British Bulldog, Ken Shamrock, The Godfather (can’t imagine he will come out with his hoes?) and The Big Bossman.

We imagine THQ will have some more Easter eggs the closer we get to the release of the game in October and that there will be several more characters available as DLC’s.
