WWE 2K15 Executive Producer Comments On CM Punk

Is he in the game or not?

The executive producer of the forthcoming WWE 2K15 video game has commented on the status of absent WWE superstar CM Punk. Mark Little told Polygon.com that we shouldn't "know what to expect" with the game, saying he is working on the "WWE now". Does this imply that Little is under the impression that CM Punk isn't part of WWE's as it is now, or does it say that he's working on the roster as of now which features CM Punk? It's difficult to decipher and the producer clearly felt awkward about being asked on Punk's status for the game. Here is the full exchange between Polygon's reporter and the 2K15 executive - Polygon: "Sure, but, I mean, the folks we€™re seeing every night, we€™re going to see in here. With the exception of maybe CM Punk." Little: "Talkin€™ about rosters later." Polygon: "Oh. Oh ... Oh? Is this a work?" Little: "I work on the WWE now; you shouldn't know what to expect." In analysing the chances for Punk to appear in the game, it would certainly be something 2K and WWE could get some value out of. People like Punk. If he can contractually be used then why wouldn't you feature him? It might be a case of WWE not wanting him to gain any profile or royalties from the release, or maybe his reported July contract expiry disqualifies him from featuring. What we know for certain is that as of today CM Punk is still listed on the roster superstars page of wwe.com. On this understanding he should be featuring in the game, but ultimately, you can't help but feel that he won't be making the final cut.
