WWE 2K15 Roster: 10 Biggest Omissions

Just where is the WWE Divas champion anyway?

Where Is Paige Aside from WrestleMania, one of the most anticipated events of the year for wrestling fans is the release of the latest WWE video game. THQ and now 2K Sports have done a tremendous job over the years of updating and adjusting the game play, adding new content and, of course, refreshing the roster. However, there are only so many Superstars spots that can be filled. Not every active competitor can make the cut, as a handful of spots are also occupied by WWE Legends, Hall of Famers and other alumni. It's become a tradition over the years to reveal the roster over SummerSlam weekend and this year was no exception. A part of a star-studded panel featuring the likes of John Cena, Hulk Hogan and Sting among others, hosts Stone Cold Steve Austin and Renee Young ran down the list of the Superstars that will be included in WWE 2K15 when it hits stores October 28 in North America. However, there were many notable names not mentioned such as Kane, Mark Henry and Cody Rhodes. A longer list of Superstars was later released on WWE.com and 2K's website, respectively, but even then there were still a few surprising omissions. The following list will only account for active competitors not currently included in the game and not for Legends since it's rather likely that they will be confirmed at a later date when the full roster is revealed.

10. The Great Khali

Say what you will about his wrestling ability (or lack thereof), but there's no denying The Great Khali's impressive credentials since arriving in WWE in 2006. He's a former World Heavyweight champion and has mixed it up with the likes of John Cena, The Undertaker, Triple H and many other top stars over the years. He hasn't been involved in anything of note lately, but a major argument among fans is that the sole reason WWE keeps him around is due to his large fan base in India. However, if he isn't even in the trademark video game, then what's the point? The only other Indian talent that would be included in WWE 2K15 is ex-3MB member Jinder Mahal, but he wasn't confirmed for the roster, either. Khali recently returned to WWE TV and has competed in various Battle Royals over the years. He's been a regular in the WWE video games since SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 and trumps every other competitor in the virtual world (except for maybe Big Show, of course). If anything, most fans are probably happy to not see Khali take up a roster spot yet again, but his absence comes as a mystery.
