WWE 2K15 Roster: 12 Superstars Who Could Make Their Franchise Debut

Find out which superstars will make their first WWE video game appearance!

Sting Video Game WWE's annual video game release is always a must buy for gamer and wrestling fans, mainly because it has the instant advantage over its predecessor in an updated roster. That's what sells annual instalments of gaming franchises as much as anything else, the gamer wants to be playing as the character of the moment, which in the WWE world is constantly changing. This year in particular the Raw television show has added a whole range of new characters, men and women who have debuted long after the release of WWE 2K14. For this reason, if you want to truly replicate WWE television, you're going to have to pick up WWE 2K15. Although only four of the updated game roster have officially been confirmed, we believe that the following 12 people will all be in line to make their video game debut in 2K15. In addition to this, you can expect a couple of new 'legends' to feature as well, it won't all be WWE rookies. This feature will talk through WWE's new additions and how they'll fit into the video gaming context. Noteworthy Mention... Out with the old, in with the new? For the roster to get new wrestlers, it usually means jettisoning some old ones. The big question this year is the status of CM Punk. Unofficially he quit WWE last January, reportedly fatigued with the physical and creative frustrations he was experiencing. However, despite not being seen in the company since, Punk is still listed as a rostered WWE superstar on wwe.com. His contract was meant to have expired in July, but with him still being on the roster page, we presume he is still under a deal. So will 2K15 use him? It would certainly have commercial and critical appeal to fans who know and love the star. However, we can't help but suspect that he won't make the cut for the final game. WWE want to be featuring the stars they have on television, not the former acts who won't be contributing to the future.
