Yes, it is true. The long running Skyrim joke about the adventurer who used to quest across the lands, until the fateful day he took an arrow to the knee, is now officially an Xbox Live Marketplace Avatar prop.
This is surely going to please gamers who have yet to grow tired of the joke, but I can only imagine the pain that will be endured for friends of those with a renewed sense of pride in the joke, that may spawn from Bethesda’s new endorsement.
Luckily, Bethesda included a wide range of additional Marketplace items for those fans that simply cannot get enough of Skyrim. Players can equip their avatar’s with Elven or Daedric armors for 400 MP, and also the Dragon Priest Mask for 160 MP.
For those who just want to feel immersed in Skyrim as soon as they turn on their Xbox, the Alduin’s Wall Premium Theme is now available for 240 MP. This theme transforms your Dashboard into the “iconic ancient stone wall carved by the Blades.”
In addition to the Arrow in the Knee Prop for 240 MP, players can also purchase the “Fus Ro Dah” Prop for 240 MP as well.
Will you be picking any of these up, or are they simply a waste of your hard earned money? Let us know in the comments below!
