Woo says He-Man movie "isn't a priority"

I love Masters of the Universe, it is one of my biggest movie guilty pleasures. Sure for the most part it's a terrible movie but it was one of my favourite films growing up and I still re-visit it today. I love the character of Skeletor, I think Frank Langella put in one of the best villain performances of all time. I love the set design of his castle, it's a shame a sequel never got off the ground. Now the long delayed John Woo reimaging of the animated tv show and original film is still alive, but we won't be seeing it anytime soon according to a source at MTV... €œJohn is attached, but the project isn't a priority or high on his radar. Essentially, lost enthusiasm€, I'm not sure if I want to see a re-make or not. I mean I love the original movie and all but it was cheesy as hell and could be improved upon in SOOO many ways. I just can't see them being able to find anyone who could come close to matching Langella as Skeletor though. source - mtv, moviehole
