MARION RAMSEY AS LAVERNE HOOKS (16) Hooks was the little lady with the big voice, soft spoken until she got angry; her trademark dont move dirtbag became one of the series catchphrases. Prior to her Academy appearance, Marion Ramsey had been a series regular on Bill Cosby's sketch show Cos. It was Police Academy that gave Ramsey her biggest role to the date though and she reprised her role as Hooks for all but the final sequel Since Police Academy she has made seldom few screen appearances, apart from the odd guest appearance on TV shows, most notably; Beverly Hills Cop 90210 and a couple of recent TV movies.
