Surprise surprise, a rep for
Joseph Gordon-Levitt has denied
the shortlisting of the Inception actor for The Riddler role in Christopher Nolan's
Batman 3, according to
The Wrap. We told you it was probably a load of crap to begin with though remember this denial doesn't necessarily mean it won't happen sometime down the road. Meanwhile, a tantalizing, possibly throw-a-way but probably a first confirmation comment from
L.A. Times' Geoff Boucher reveals that filming will begin on
The Dark Knight sequel in March. We've always figured that the movie would film in the Spring but Boucher, a very accurate and methodical reporter, wouldn't have added this to his story if he didn't know it to be fact, I'd say. Boucher is the guy who gets the most out of Nolan, and is obviously a journalist Chris feels comfortable talking with. You can check out their fantastic last two interviews, one on
Inception (
HERE) and one on
Superman/Batman 3 (
HERE). And the good news is Boucher is speaking to Nolan at the
Hero Complex Film Festival tomorrow and hopefully we have another major interview to read through over the weekend. And the second meanwhile of this post...
Batman on Film have heard that
the newly commissioned Batman: Year One will be released by Warner Bros. on Tuesday, Sept. 27th, 2011.
