When I said that it would be good for
Tom Cruise to do a comedy at this point of his career in order to get back on the good side of the public.... this isn't what I meant.
Variety are now confirming that Tom Cruise will star with
Ben Stiller for
Shawn Levy's action comedy
The Hardy Boys. Yes that's right. The rumour that I said last week was "
complete bullshit" and followed it up by saying that Cruise "
aint stupid enough to join a Stiller/Levy picture" is actually true! Well mark me down as being completely shocked. The site claim the movie's premise will come off a little like
Mr. and Mrs. Smith and they describe the plot as....

Tom Cruise has been notorious for only working with the best directors that Hollywood have to offer for years....so I say it with no exaggeration that this is one of the strangest news stories I have ever had to post. Could it work? Yeah sure, Tom Cruise can do anything and I actually believe that the chemistry between him and Stiller could be dynamite. We all know they are good friends and if it was
