Hero Complex, the only news outlet that has a direct line to
Chris Nolan, posted this tweet today (found via
Batman on Film);
"Chris Nolan is under the weather and scouting locations in Asia for 'DK Rises' but excited about Globes noms."
Very interesting. There was of course a lengthy sequence of
The Dark Knight that was set in Hong Kong, and obviously the whole League of Shadows segments of
Batman Begins were shot in Asia. Some websites will no doubt speculate this signifies that
Talia Al Ghul (the daughter of
Liam Neeson's Ra's Al Ghul, who is a major love interest & frequent foe of Batman in comics lore) MUST be one of the two female characters
reportedly in the new film and that might be true. But it just as easily might not. It could simply be another Hong Kong-esque sequence. But what we do know is this a LEGIT REPORT, from a LEGIT SOURCE.
