David Lynch doesn't support the IPHONE!
Word of advice. Don't buy David Lynch an Iphone for his birthday. During an interview on the DVD for his latest flick INLAND EMPIRE, Lynch describes his disdain for watching movies via your mobile phone. Some clever person then added the Iphone music and advert feel to it and slapped it onto Youtube so we can all have a nice laugh.
Although I do think he makes some good points... the day the mobile phone because the fore-front of entertainment viewing is the day the medium is dead. Though I don't necessarily agree that the cinema going experience or a 52" t.v. is THE only way to watch a movie. Yes I would prefer to watch movies in the cinema, but as far as t.v. is concerned... I fell in love with movies like THE WOLF MAN from watching it on a crappy t.v. which flickered constantly and was often grainy as hell. No matter how good our technology gets, the movies have to be good to keep us watching. And watching THE WOLF MAN on a bus... or THE WOLF MAN at home, I'm still going to get wrapped up in Lon Chaney's heartbreaking transformation into a werewolf killer. source - slash film
