James Marsden & Russell Brand's Easter Bunny to I HOP???

No I Hop is not the latest piece of tech wizardry from Apple but instead a newly greenlit Universal comedy that will star James Marsden as an unemployed slacker who accidentally runs over the Easter Bunny (voiced by Russell Brand) with his car, and takes him under his wing to nurses him back to full health. So any sane minded movie blogger's conclusion from reading THR's scoop would be that Brand is just playing a guy in a Easter Bunny costume for his job or whatever. A character who is just as much a loser as the unemployed Marsden and together these two lazy slackers find a way to help each other find a goal in life and maybe a chick along the way. WRONG! - In actual fact the movie will be part live-action/part CGI and it comes from the director who blended the two in Alvin and the Chipmunks. Oh good lord, does that sound terrible? It's Harvey with a less interesting lead and with the Easter Bunny (who we will probably find out at the end isn't real, and just a figment of the drunk Marsden's imagination) actually seen for the majority of the movie, and voiced by Brand no less. Long gone are the subtle days of cinema. Though, maybe this is just a full out-kids movie when I see that Horton Hears A Who & The Santa Clause 2 writers Cinco Paul and Ken Dauiro are credited with the script along with Brian Lynch (upcoming Puss in Boots Shrek spin-off). So yeah, it's a childrens movie then?
