Louis Leterrier talks Hulk movie

hulkdes20iy.jpgLouis Leterrier has been answering fans questions over at the Superhero Hype message boards on what his plans are for his "reimaging" of the Marvel hero The Hulk. This is some of the interesting answers Letterrier gave... They are close to casting a lead actor, with the rest of the cast to soon follow. Eric Bana played the character in the first movie, of which this film will apparently have none or very little ties with. The main villain in the movie will be "Thunderbolt" Ross who in the comics was a U.S. Military Officer who was the father of Betty Ross and obsessed with destroying The Hulk. The secondary villain will be Emil Blonsky who is a Russain KJB agent who willingly infects himself with the Gamma Ray to turn himself into a Hulk-like creature called Abomination. The Hulk character will still be CGI with only prosthetics used in certain scenes when needed. I'm torn over this CGI thing for the Hulk. In the first movie it looked ridiculously fake and I think that ultimately put off many people from seeing the movie but then when I read a Hulk comic then he really is that size. He is this larger than life creature and CGI is the only way to do him any justice. source - coming soon, superhero hype message boards
