God of War is being infected by "The Rat" just as rumored in May. MGM have confirmed the news in a Press Release about David Self writing the Robocop adaptation...

Fuck! God of War could have been this century's Sinbad - Jason and the Argonauts - Clash of the Titans. With someone like a Sam Raimi, a Guillermo del Toro it could have been the epic spectacular that the first video game is. Instead it's going to be more Doom than anything else.
