Jonathan Mostow has been hired to re-write and direct the movie adaptation of the comic book character
Sub-Mariner. The character is one of the earliest superheroes in the

DC guy than a
Marvel guy so i don't really know much about this character but he does sound similar to
Aquaman. Like it or not, the success of comic book movies in recent years has meant that we are subjected to lesser known characters getting their own movie. As long the quality is kept at a good standard though, i'm all for it! source -
