Nicole Kidman was sent to hospital after she crashed the Jaguar she was driving on the set of the science fiction movie
The Invasion yesterday morning. She was examined in hospital and sometime later released, apparently unscathed. More info from

The Jaguar was being towed by a camera rig that skidded while taking a corner and caused Kidman's car to hit a pole on West Sixth Street, police said. The actress was wearing a seat belt. It was a movie set, so of course someone was filming the events and if you click here you can see the footage over at
TMZ. Crash wasn't all that spectacular, but let's be thankful of that. The Invasion which has gone through more production problems than
Indiana Jones 4, but is now on course to be released in August, co-starring
