PINKVILLE is dead

The Hollywood Reporter say the movie has been scrapped because the actors and crew have gone off to work on other projects. I'm not particularly Stone's biggest fan so I can't say I'm crying over this announcement and although the subject matter of the My Lai Massacre sounded interesting, Stone's past record for turning important historic events into satisfying movies are few and far between. And haven't we seen enough of Stone's Vietnam movies by now? We shall keep an eye on U.A. over the next few weeks though. Will they capitalize on the fact that they are the only movie studio allowed to write scripts at this present moment in time? source - cinema blend
