Giovanni Ribsi is to star as German physicist Albert Einstein in a movie biopic of the genius' life. Veteran Italian director

Ripley's Game will be helming the picture. Ribsi, sounding very excited spoke a little on the project whilst promoting his upcoming movie
Perfect Stranger which is released this week.
"I don't know if I should say, but I will, finally, talk about it...Einstein. I'm going to be doing Albert Einstein... It's great and the script is really great, and I'm really excited about it." It's a movie that focuses on his relationship with his first wife, Mileva Maric, and I guess it's from the inception of that relationship to the end of his life" Ribisi went on to tell us that the role of Mileva had yet to be cast and that he believed the movie will start shooting in July in both Italy and Barcelona. I feared Ribisi would forever be stuck in supporting roles, but this one definitely sees him play a lead and I would expect him to pull out all the stops to make sure it's not a one-off. I'm having a hard time picturing him as Einstein in my mind though but we shall see. Interestingly, he also revealed on the same night that he is doing
