SEASON OF THE WITCH Is One Of The Lowest Rated Films Ever on Rotten Tomatoes

On Monday, we were one of the first sites to upload a review of Nicolas Cages' latest crazy-haired, fantastical, B-movie vehicle when Shaun Munro turned in a piece titled 'Season of the Witch: A New Low For Nicolas Cage'. Having barely lived through The Wicker Man, Next and Bangkok Dangerous over the past few years, I really thought that was saying something. Nope. The film is that disastrous. At the time of writing, Dominic Sena's Season of the Witch is scoring a pathetic 2% on Rotten Tomatoes on the day of it's release, one of the lowest ratings in the site's history. I guess we should have known weeks ago after THAT trailer and the mysterious pulling from it's original release schedule last Spring. If you are a glutton for punishment, Nicolas Cage has Drive Angry opening next month. Thanks to Jeff Wells for the heads-up.
