Just days after
David Goyer announced that he had left
The Flash,
The Hollywood Reporter claim that hack director
Shawn Levy has boarded the project. Oh dear. Yes that's right, the guy who totally butchered the fun concept of
Night at the Museum. The guy who badly remade
The Pink Panther and brought us the hideous
Cheaper by the Dozen comedy. This hack director who really hasn't got a clue is now handling the writing and directing gig of the quickest superhero from the DC universe. The main problem I have with the guy is that he rushes through his movies, giving us such a paint by numbers movie that is so uninteresting it puts you to sleep. The Flash won't contain any style or any artistic merit and instead will be a very light-hearted superhero movie, probably in the vein of
Sky High or something. One thing's for sure, he has a completely different mentality from the darker David Goyer, so it's pretty obvious what direction they are hoping Levy takes this picture. source -
